I have been on this getting my finances right since my husband and I (Samantha) have the new baby coming. Even though I’m a
former current product junkie. I feel like I’m former but the way my current hair product box is set up I’m definitely not officially out the product junkie club. Despite that, I use to go through all the expensive products thinking they were better. However, when my son and my new one coming is starting to hit those finances those drugstore products and me became besties. Now, I’m down for whatever works for my son and my hair is good for me. I didn’t realize there still legitimate good products out there for less than 10$ that do wonders for my hair. The best part is these products are in the stores nearest you CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart and Sallys Beauty Supply.
EcoStyler Argan Oil:
I know most of you know about this product and have certain ones that do better than others. I use to go crazy about the green one but I found it didn’t leave my hair as soft as the argan oil one did. My hair seems to get a great hold but still not hard to the touch.
EcoStyler Curls and Waves:
This Ecostyler is the pink one which is a little new to me. I like that it gives great curl definition but it definitely is a product that needs to have a leave in such as cantu coconut curl cream or lotta body leave in so your hair isn’t dry. If i want some extra curl definition poppin this is my go to.
Creme of Nature Argan Oil Pudding Perfection:
I absolutely love the pudding perfection because it gives the hair a nice hold but does not dry out the hair at all. This works best when it comes to your wash n go’s or twists for a great twist out look. If you have already smelled this product then you already know that it smells sooo good.
Lotta Body Curl & Syle Milk:
If I want to place moisture back in my hair then this is the leave in I go to. I usually mix my lotta body leave in with one of the above products to really keep the moisture back in my hair.
Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream
This is another leave in that will make you hair moisturized as soon as you put it in. I usually use this cream for updos and for my weekly moisturizing check-ins.
When finding the right drugstore product make sure to read the labels so you do not have sulfate or alcohol in your products because that will dry your hair out. Even though I enjoy using new products I make sure i’m particular in what I’m getting. If you need reviews to see if it will work for me besides listening to me the best way to check is through google or amazon reviews to see how it works for other peoples hair. This is how I ultimately choose what products I’m going to use by looking at reviews. I also want to add that I hardly use this products by themselves. I still follow the LCO method where I use the leave in which is numbers 4 and 5 with one of the top 3 to really have a nice mixture and the look that I want.
