How’s your week going? Are you living fearlessly? Are you embracing you? Are you in a funk? Do you need an instant pick me up? Well, this week’s challenge will surely give you what you need to move forward with living fearlessly and embracing your authentic self.
Often when I’m in a funk I choose to sit quietly and reflect on everything that’s going right and everything I’m thankful for in my life. Sometimes I may run through this list in my mind and sometimes I write it down. Either way slowly but surely I begin to feel a little more hopeful, happy, less stress, and open to the things, people or situations to come. When I get to the point of being more open to the things, people and situations to come I’m essentially telling fear it has no place in my life. Yes, that’s right…Gratitude trumps Fear. Gratitude is essentially saying despite all that I’ve been through I still have things/people/situations to be thankful for (WOW); thus
I choose to seize this moment
I choose not to complain
I choose to appreciate what I have
I choose to look for the good in every situation
I choose to move forward with achieving my goals
I choose to live FEARLESSLY
I choose to EMBRACE ME
Realizing this not only gets me out of my funk for the moment, but I find myself more eager to face every day through a gratitude lens. The BEST part of gratitude is its connection to the law of attraction. By focusing on positive thoughts (gratitude), I invite more positive experiences into my life (future gratitude). Hmmm….Present gratitude is linked to Future gratitude…Got it!
CHALLENGE: This week we challenge you to write a GRATITUDE LIST. EVERY MORNING you wake (blessing!), reflect and write down at least 3-5 things, people, or situations you are grateful for. After you write them down, take your time saying each one out loud. By reading each item on your list out loud, it will deepen your sense of gratitude for that particular thing, person or situation. After you do this for a week, take some time to reflect on your cumulative list of things, people and situations you’re thankful for. I guarantee you, you will tap into those powers within and feel more inner peace, motivation, optimism, and hopefulness.
