Have you tried any products from Hydratherma Naturals? For years I’ve wanted to try these products, so this year I made it happen. I will be reviewing Hydratherma Naturals Moisture Boosting Shampoo and Moisture Boosting Deep Conditioner Treatment. I’ve used both of these products for 1.5 months. Below I will give my honest feedback on the product. I purchased these products with my own funds and will not be compensated in any way for this review.
Hydratherma Naturals Moisture Boosting Shampoo contains natural extracts such as Seaweed, Algae and Sea kelp with a few essential oils that will help you get and maintain healthy hair. This shampoo also has Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential acids to help each strand of hair return to its optimal 8% of moisture level. This shampoo detangles, softens and hydrates my hair. I like that I didn’t have to use much product for it to lather and do its job. You know how some shampoos feel like its stripping your hair of all of its nutrients; well this product definitely cleans you hair but it keeps the moisture in. Hydratherma Naturals recommends this shampoo for dry, brittle and slow growing hair of all types. This shampoo retails for $15.99 on Hydratherma Naturals site. Click here to purchase.
How to use: I wet my hair first then applied a quarter size amount of shampoo to my scalp and then smoothed it down to the ends of my hair. I would then massage the shampoo into my hair until it lathers. After 2-3 minutes of massaging, I rinsed it out thoroughly. With all shampoos I personally do 2 cycles. With the second cycle I left the shampoo in for about 2-4 minutes before rinsing it out. This is recommended for extra moisture.
This conditioner is amazing! It contains natural ingredients such as: Lavender oil, caramel, orange oil, seaweed, algae and sea kelp extracts to replace natural oils lost and increase moisture levels in the hair and scalp. The Moisture Boosting Deep Conditioning Treatment does exactly what the label says its going to do: prevent breakage, restore elasticity, seal in moisture by returning the hair to its optimal 8% moisture level, and help you grow healthy hair. This conditioner is also good for detangling your hair especially when paired with the Moisture Boosting Shampoo. After rinsing out the conditioner the immediate results I experienced was soft, shiny (not greasy), and moisturized hair that smelled amazing! This conditioner retails for $17.99 on Hydratherma Naturals site. Click here to purchase.
How to use: After using Hydratherma Naturals Moisture Boosting Shampoo, I apply the Moisture Boosting Deep Conditioning Treatment to my hair from root to tip. I cover my head with a plastic cap and then used my Hair Therapy Wrap for 30 minutes. Hydratherma Naturals recommends 10-20 minutes, but I was cleaning and the time quickly passed. Afterwards, I detangled my hair with a wide tooth comb and then rinsed the conditioner out of my hair.
***I will note that for an extreme deep conditioning treatment Hydratherma Naturals recommends using their Natural Hair Growth Oil along with the deep conditioner. I do not have the growth oil, so I did not do this method. I will get it and see how it compares to the deep conditioning method described above. (Stay connected for a future review on the extreme deep conditioning experience).
