If there is a product I’ve been rocking and getting the right results you know I will make sure to tell you about it. We had TGIN be one of our sponsors at our latest event Curl Passion Brunch 2015. We absolutely love their products and realized I had some in my drawer that need to be tested. During our little break, I have been trying to do protective styles that I can do for the week while the weekend rock it out. I have been taking a break from doing too much to my hair and focusing on the health of my hair again. I already love TGIN’s Honey Miracle mask which I talk about in detail here. However, it took me awhile until I started using these two products. I clearly do not understand why it took me so long and I definitely have been missing out.
Butter Cream Daily Moisturizer (tgin.com) Make tgin Butter Cream Daily Moisturizer a part of your routine! The #1 complaint of most naturalistas is “dryness.” In response to this we have formulated our tgin Butter Cream Daily Moisturizer for natural hair. Now you will never have to worry about frizz or dryness again. We intentionally use ingredients like Shea butter, Cocoa butter, and Vitamin E oil both to target dryness at its source by moisturizing from the roots to the tips and to prevent dryness. This everyday moisturizer aims to give you consistently soft, shiny, manageable curls while nourishing your scalp.

How I Use
After shampooing and conditioning my hair, I have my hair in six section and use the butter daily moisturizer for each section. Next, I begin to detangle my hair, and section off my hair to begin two strand twisting. Prior to starting the twist, I put in Twist & Define Crème to combat frizz and give me a light hold for my twist. I do medium size twist throughout my entire hair and continue to put in a dime size amount of Twist & Define Cream through out each section prior to doing my two strand twists. Once you finished your entire head, let your two strand twist set either for the night or whenever your ready to have a twist out.
When your ready for a twist out, use a small amount of butter cream and unravel each twist. Be careful not to tug or be to harsh on your hair to prevent frizz. Once unraveled, be sure to seperate 2 to 3 times each twist section then fluff. I prefer the afro pick to get more volume but your welcome to use your fingers. I discuss more about my fluff process here.
What I love about them:
Butter Cream Daily Moisturizer
I love the fact that it immediately places moisture back in my hair with shea butter, cocoa butter and Vitamin E. I knew right away my hair was going to love it. Its makes it so soft and manageable that it makes it hard not to keep touching my hair. I use daily moisturizer every couple of days to maintain moisture in my hair and maintain the softness from when I first did my hair.
Twist and Define Cream
I love how it gives such great definition for my hair but not the hard hold that some gels give. It gives a light hold that will make you hair have ample of volume and definition. It’s easy to put throughout your hair and makes my twist outs pop each time.
What I dislike about them
I didn’t have any dislikes with this product. I’m still upset though it took me so long to use it though.
Have you tried it? How did your results turn out?
