As we were trying to rebrand everything making our subjects and goals condusive for our readers. We realized that a lot of our besties ( which is you) have been having struggles that have been based out of fear. Fear can be an anchor in your life if you let it. We want our besties to be feeling at their best and becoming fearless. I know a lot of our besties want to hear about the hair care portion which is great but if your not loving you on the inside then having the “baddest style on the block” (do people even say that anymore lol.) Well having your curls on fleek isnt going to matter if your not living in your purpose or plans for your life.
So, We want to challenge you to do something out of the norm EVERYDAY this week. Yes, this means the One thing you need to be doing for yourself is doing something that scares you. It has to be something that makes you uncomfortable, brings you anxiety and outside your usual box that you love to stay in. When you’re in that place of doing something out of the norm its going to help you become the fearless bestie we know you can be. Everything we challenge you to do is for a purpose the goal is within a couple of months lets say around six months, you won’t be scared of trying anything, and you’ll be able to be any person you want to be. Go ahead feel the anxiety its ok we all have it but the objective is to face fear in the face and be like Nike and Just do it.
For me ,Samantha, my one thing out of the norm is being on periscope. Im mainly an introvert but my passion is helping people through actionable task to make their vision a reality. There something about being live that gives me the butterflies. Each day I do it, it helps me become more comfortable. I think about the end outcome of facing my fear. I want to make sure I talk to you live to see what your struggles are and to see the best way I can help you get to your vision. Each time I go on periscope Im feeling my nervousness creep up. BUT you know what Im feeling the fear and doing it anyway.
For me, Bianca, I’m starting a journey in adopting a pescatarian lifestyle. This is something out of the norm and something I’ve wanted to do for some time. Yes it feels different but I’m committed to the challenge. Through meal planning and preparation I have guaranteed my success (along with follow through) and you can do it too! Dont limit yourself. Its so cliche but you can do anything you put your mind to. Live limitless!
So go ahead and talk with a stranger about advice, ask your crush out, give 5 people compliments today, eat food that looks disgusting or do anything that gives you that jittery feeling just thinking about it.
