If your starting to experience a lot of breakage or have severely damaged hair. It might be time to add protein treatment into your regimen: kinky, curly or coily hair are all made up of primary proteins. Protein treatments are what keeps our hair lustrous, stronger and helps with retaining length. The secret is choosing the right protein conditioner for your hair that will provide the protein and the moisture.
This is my favorite protein conditioner that I at least make sure I do once a month. This conditioner doesn’t smell to pretty but I know it makes my hair stronger with less breakage, moisturizing and shiny.

This has been becoming a popular protein conditioner that is convenient. All you have to do is pour in a half a cap full in your favorite conditioner and it automatically transforms into a protein conditioner. Make sure to place this in a moisturizing deep conditioner since protein can make your hair dry.
DIY Eggs, Mayo, Olive oil and essential oil of your choice
If you don’t feel like spending money and want to make your own concoction, this one is the way to go.
All you have to do is place
¼ cup of mayo
2 Tablespoon olive oil
2- 3 drops of essential oil (peppermint, rosemary, whatever you choose)
