As you know I love my products and had to reveal my shampoo that I have been using lately.
I mean I had it bad when I went to the Atlanta World Natural Hair Show. This is the first shampoo I was looking for when I got there.
Ok here it goes: Zuresh Clarifying Shampoo. Have you heard of this?
It’s from the company, Zuresh from Zuresh.com and it’s not your average shampoo. This one goes on dry hair and you leave it on for about 5 to 10 minutes while it provides the shine and cleaning that you need when those weeks where there’s a little too much build up.This is one of my top shampoos – well really only shampoo, because I rarely use much shampoo, that I can count on when I need that clean feeling.
This post is my honest opinion and this is not a sponsored post. I’ll first give you their instructions then tell you how I used it.
“Zuresh’s “Clarify Me” is a gentle formulated Clarifying Shampoo that uses the calming distillates and essential oils of lavender and chamomile.
Glycerin, Vitamin B & E, Jojoba & lupine protein, jojoba oil and rosehip oil enhance conditioning properties of this shampoo. Deep Cleans and replaces Vitamins all at once. Paraben and Sulphate Free!” (From the website)
pH: 4.5-5.5. **Zuresh Essential Blend of Exotic Vanillas and Herbs.
Directions from Zuresh
Start with a nickle to quarter sized amount of clarifying shampoo and work it into your dry scalp/roots only with light massage for a good 60 seconds.
Depending on the amount of build up and oils on your hair, “Clarify Me” may not lather very much, but that’s okay – it is sulphate free.
Next, take a smaller amount of shampoo (the more hair you have, the more you’ll need to use, but typically no more than a quarter sized amount) and work the shampoo through your hair.
Now, let the shampoo sit for 3-5 minute. Letting the shampoo sit will help release the product build up.
Then add water and rinse really, really well. If your hair is in particular need of a clarifying treatment, this step can be repeated. *Usually only one wash is necessary. (From website)
Split your hair into 4-6 sections. In my experience, I make sure to pre-poo with coconut oil to get extra moisture in when using this product. I’m one of those naturalistas on a budget who one doesn’t like wasting water and two can’t stand being in the shower trying to wash my hair while the water is running. Am I the only one in who does this? share and talk to me below. I then take one section and make sure to pour a little over a quarter size amount of product in my hand.
Side Note: You might not need as much shampoo it all depends on your hair thickness and length.
I love using this time to give myself a mini scalp massage to make sure I get all that product build up off from the week. I focus mainly on the scalp then start going down towards my hair. Now this product is a thin liquid so it can cause a little mess in your sink or bathtub. Once you’re finished with your section bun or twist it up and move on to the next. Follow the same steps as stated previously through each section. When your done, make sure to rinse well (to me this product had quite a bit of lather). However, I could be bias since most of my previous shampoos do not have any lather. One thing about this product you definitely can tell that your hair is clean by the way it feels. On top of that, it does give your hair some shine. Feel free to leave it as is or add your fav conditioner with it.

Why is it my top?
I know I can count on this shampoo.
Even though I’m a product junkie at heart, I seldom try different shampoo’s because all of the fails I had in the past. Either making it (the shampoo) makes my hair so dry or stripping my hair of all the oils, or having so many unreadable ingredients. There top 3 ingredients are
Aloe Vera Juice – promotes hair growth, maintains Ph. balance and reduces dandruff
Lavender – controls hair loss, promotes growth, reduces itchy/dry scalp and
Chamomille – soothes irritated scalp and add beautiful shine
This shampoo gives me the cleanliness I need during those days where I have so much buildup from trying new styles. It also gives me the shine and strength with moisture on top of that.
Have you tried this shampoo? What’s your fav shampoo?
